Our friend and her daughter came over to visit after so long.  We will meet each other's kids of the same age for the first time.  Upon seeing our friend's daughter, Tiago said, "She's a pretty girl!"

Tiago saw a baby in a picture and said "what a cute li'l guy". a

While watching one of his Baby Einstein video...

"WOW! It's a dancing crab!....Silly animal."

Took Tiago to watch the lights and sound show at the Ayala Triangle.  When the show started he shouted, "It's almost Christmas!"

Tiago was desperately trying to stick a Post-it pad on the floor that was not sticky anymore.  After much effort with matching "auugggh! auuugggh!", he looked at me and said, "Mommy, this is really, really hard!  It's impossible!"

Daddy Myke was showing Tiago some magic tricks.  Tiago was so impressed with his dad, that Myke kept impressing him! Until...

Tiago:  Let's do something else.

We introduced Oscar the Grouch to Tiago....

Me: This is Oscar the Grouch.  You know what a grouch is?
Tiago:  Looking at me, waiting for the answer.
Me: A grouch means you're sungit.
Tiago:  Still looking at me...then lets out a smirk...and says "Like Tiago. Hehe."

Singing Daddy Myke a birthday song...

While putting Tiago to sleep --- lights off and all, he suddenly sat up and said, "Mommy! Pee in the potty! I forgot to poop!".

Me: Are you sleepy?
Tiago:  No.
Me: Are you hungry?
Tiago: No.
Me: Are you just cranky?
Tiago: No.
Me: Then what are you?
Tiago: A boy!

Myke:  Tiago what's this --- "?"
Tiago:  A clue!
Myke: It's a question mark.
Tiago: Just like this! Pointing to the birthmark on his knee.

Tiago saw Myke and I hugging. He said, "Stop! Daddy stop hugging Mommy!"

Tiago drew a circle on his blackboard. A few minutes later...

Me: Who drew the circle on the board!

Tiago: Tiago!

Then turned to Myke and said, "Believe it!"

Tiago saw Myke's eyes closed, he turned to me and said, "Mom, talk to babe!".

Took Tiago out of the pool and I said, "We have to go."

Tiago: No, swim some more.

Me: It's getting cold.

Tiago: No, swim some more. PLEASE!

Me: You're hands are getting wrinkly and it's about to rain (it was!).

Tiago: Use the umbrella!

When our plane landed, Tiago said "The airplane made it!"

Tiago saw his Mickey Mouse balloon deflated and looking like this...

In a taxi from Changi Airport, Tiago pointed to the buildings we past and shouted, "There's the Singapore!"

While playing with his cooking set, Tiago puts a cup on a frying pan, then puts the pan on the stove.

Me: Why are you cooking the cup?

Tiago: To make cupcakes!

Tiago put a basket over his head and when he couldn't take it out he said, "Excuse me, basket!"

While singing 'Old McDonald', I let Tiago take the lead on what animal sounds we would do. He will say the animal, I'll do the sound...

dog - arf! arf!

pig - oink! oink!

cow - moo! moo!

horse - neigh! neigh!

chick - chirp! chirp!

We were doing so well until he shouted, "Giraffe!"

I was stumped.

Tiago and I started with nose to nose. Then he moved on to:

Then the other day he said:

When his teacher at The Little Gym took out a bunch of hoola hoops, Tiago shouted "I love it!".

While walking along the corridor of the hospital, Tiago walks to a man seated, peacefully sleeping and he says "Wake up! Wake up!".

Daddy (containing his laughter): Are you sure?
